Course Objectives
The course objectives are as follows:
1. To develop a basic understanding of the purpose and objective of seminars
2. To develop a skill in attending, making use and organizing seminars
3. To develop a skill in research topic identification and development
Course Description
Presentation and discussion on current interesting topics in civil engineering will be conducted. The primary goal of this course is to better prepare the students for the industry and research community after graduation.

1. Presentation techniques
2. Career preparation, e.g., job search, job interview, CV writing
3. Technical tours related to the civil engineering field
4. Freeform presentations by the faculty
5. Research presentations by the students
