Research Methodology for Materials Engineering

The aim of this class is to provide tools for master students to conduct their research. The so called 'tools' include introduction to the graduate program and department resources, key concepts of research methodologies, practice of critical thinking, and research-related information technologies and software.  

01213215 Manufacturing for Materials Engineers

This manufacturing course was designed to equip our 2nd-yr materials engineering undergrads with manufacturing knowledge and skills including materials and process selection, process design, and problem shooting in manufacturing. Key processes of traditional materials and in advanced manufacturing will be covered. Case studies based on manufacturing defects and their effects in real life will be applied throughout the course.
